Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of the Sunhaven Ontario Sunrooms & Patios website and any estimate or work you ask us for through it. By using the site, calling us or sending the contact form, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
When we take on a job, we give you a written contract for it. If that contract says something different from this page, the contract wins for that job.
What we do
Sunhaven Ontario Sunrooms & Patios is a sunroom contractor in Ontario, CA. We design and build sunrooms, patio enclosures, screen rooms, patio covers and related work for homes in Ontario and the cities around it. You can read more about us on our About page and see our services from the home page.
What we describe on this site is general information about our work. It isn't an offer to do any job at a set price or on a set schedule. Each house is different, so the exact work, materials and timing for your project are set in your estimate and contract.
Estimates and pricing
We give free on-site estimates, and asking for one doesn't obligate you to anything. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure during the visit, along with the size, materials and options you choose.
The price can change if you change the plan, if a permit office or inspector requires something extra, or if we open up the work and find a problem nobody could see beforehand, such as damaged framing or a footing that won't carry the load. When that happens, we explain it to you and get your written approval before we do the added work.
Any price you see on this site is general information and not a quote for your house.
Scheduling and cancellation
We set a start date with you once the contract is signed and any needed permits and materials are in hand. Weather, permit and inspection timing, material delivery and the condition of the site can move that date, so we keep you posted when something shifts.
If you need to reschedule or cancel, call us at (909) 738-1566 as soon as you can. Your contract explains what happens if you cancel after it's signed, including any charge for materials we've already ordered or work we've already done. Nothing here takes away any right to cancel that the law gives you.
Payment
Your contract lists the total price, when each payment is due and the ways you can pay. Payments are tied to the stages of the work as described in the contract.
If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's made, and the contract may allow late charges where the law permits. If you have a question about a bill, please call us before the due date so we can sort it out.
Warranties and what this site doesn't promise
Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. Any written warranty on our workmanship is spelled out in your contract, and materials such as glass, vinyl, aluminum and roofing panels carry their makers' own warranties.
Outside of what your contract and those makers' warranties say, the site and its content are provided as is. We try to keep the information on it accurate and current, but we don't promise it's complete or free of errors, and it isn't a substitute for advice about your own house.
Warranties usually don't cover damage from misuse, from changes or repairs made by someone else, from storms, earthquakes or other events outside our control, or from skipping the care the material makers call for.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, Sunhaven Ontario Sunrooms & Patios isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses that come from using this site or from relying on its content. For a job we do, our responsibility is the one set out in your contract and in the law.
We're fully licensed and insured. Nothing on this page limits a responsibility that California law says can't be limited.
Settling a disagreement
If you're unhappy with something, tell us first. Call (909) 738-1566 or reach us through our Contact page, and we'll talk it through with you and try to make it right, because most problems get fixed fastest that way.
If we can't settle it between us, either of us may use mediation or any other process your contract names, or bring the matter to a court that has jurisdiction over it.
Which law applies
These terms and any dispute about them or about this site are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any court case goes to the courts serving San Bernardino County, unless the law or your contract says otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version on this page is the one in effect. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms. A change here doesn't alter a contract you've already signed with us.
If you have a question about anything on this page, get in touch through our Contact page.
